Rex and Sarah’s Wedding at The White Hart at Lydgate was an absolute beauty; packed with wildflowers and details galore plus a family that haven’t all been together since the 70’s it was one of those perfect days where the room is filled with beaming guests.
I love to get to know each and every one of my couples a little better so that I can tell their story authentically, one of the things i ask is how you met and got together. Here’s what they said:
“I first saw Rex on a cold winter’s evening, just before Christmas. We were both waiting for a train. I was with a group of girlfriends and we were off to the Christmas markets and he was going out into town with his son and daughter for the evening. It turned out he’d been friends with one of my friends for years. But when I asked her who the handsome man was that she was talking to, she explained that he was already seeing someone and seemed really happy. So that was that. He admits now that he didn’t see me that evening, but knowing what I do about him now, that is understandable.
It was a few months after that our paths crossed again and we first met for a dog walk – It wasn’t long after we first met that we realised that we just seemed to click and we really didn’t want to be with anyone else.”
Wedding at The White Hart at Lydgate
The White Hart at Lydgate is set on top of the Saddleworth Moors surrounded by beautiful countryside. With two completely separate function suites and enough grounds for beautiful family photos it really is the perfect wedding venue.
Sarah & Rex chose wildflowers as their theme and not only decorated their tables with them but their day was themed around flowers which was a beautiful colourful touch. It was so much fun being a part of their day, here’s some of my favourites along with their highlight slideshow.
