Rose & Alex’s Wedding at Utopia at Broughton Hall Estate was one hell of a stunner!
These loved up newlyweds have been together since school and recently shared their story with me “We were at high school together – Alex was in the year above Rose – and met properly towards the end of high school. We got together just after Rose started 6thform college, as we were at the same college together too. That would have been 2009. We went to separate universities and then moved in together in London. After a couple of years of living together, we went to New Zealand on a 3 week getaway and that’s where Alex was planning to pop the question! Part way through the holiday we were stargazing at the foot of Mount Cook (the highest mountain in New Zealand) and that’s when Alex got on one knee.”
Utopia at Broughton Hall Estate Wedding
Utopia at Broughton Hall Estate is actually a cafe and gift shop by weekday but is transformed into the most gorgeous Wedding Venue. With it’s floor to ceiling glass walls and glass roof and surrounded by Broughton Hall’s stunning walled gardens and lush landscaped greenery, it really does make the most beautiful location for a Wedding in Lancashire.
Rose & Alex booked me because they wanted their Wedding Photography to be natural and unposed and wanted lots of photos of people laughing and having a great time. They got married at their local church St Michael and All Angels in Foulridge then chose Utopia at Broughton Hall Estate for their Wedding reception. They chose a Ceilidh over a first dance which made for some fun dance floor action as people flew across the dancefloor- a wedding photographers dream!
It was so much fun being a part of this beautiful and super relaxed Broughton Hall Estate Wedding. Here’s a few of my favourite wedding photos in their highlight slideshow and images below.
