I’ve been bursting to show you this beautiful Thornton Manor Wedding Photography. Nadiyah & Thomas got married in a traditional muslim Nikah ceremony with 200 of their friends and family who travelled far and wide to be there with them.
I’ll let Thomas & Nadiyah tell the story of how they met “We both met at the University of St Andrews in a French conversation group. We had common interest in international travel and culture, the study of languages and food / cooking. We also really liked that, despite the fact we come from very different backgrounds, we had so much in common. Thomas proposed to Nadiyah in February this year in the restaurant where Nadiyah had celebrated her graduation from St Andrews with her family.”

Thomas arrived in style surprising the guests with his arrival by boat across the lake just before the Nikah ceremony. The lakeside marquee at Thornton Manor had been transformed into a magical room for the wedding breakfast with rose gold and floral touches and twinkling candles. All in time for a feast fit for a King.
There were a few lovely speeches in between courses along with a fun quiz by the Bride and Groom where guests had to guess the answers and hang their heads in shame as their scores were read out.
We were even lucky enough to go over to the Manor just after sunset as the guests were leaving for a wander around with the gorgeous newlyweds and a last chance for some lovely portraits before they headed to bed early before their honeymoon the next day.
