The Alma Inn Wedding

The Alma Inn Wedding’s are amongst my favourite, this venue lends itself to the most relaxed and fun Weddings and Giorgia & Neil’s was definitely that!

These two have a very modern tale of how they got together – which i’m going to let them tell “It’s been a (relatively) whirlwind romance between Giorgia and myself. We met on tinder (I know, I know) and within three months of that we were living together. I proposed to her a year to the day after we first met in person. It was at the Titanic Spa in Huddersfield, a place we both love. I bought some flowers for the room to act as a diversion and then was on one knee when she turned around. Amazingly, she said yes and we’ve been putting together our ramshackle, homemade, whimsical wedding ever since.”

The Alma Inn Wedding

The Alma Inn is set amongst the most stunning Lancashire countryside, perched on a hill in Laneshawbridge near Colne. It is a small country pub with a lovely function suite at the back with exposed beams and loads of natural light. The staff are amazing, constantly going above and beyond and the food is even better and with very reasonable bar prices it would definitely be top of my list if i were to plan my Wedding all over again!

Giorgia and Neil wanted their wedding to be super relaxed and chose fun over formalities, prioritising having a good old knees up with their families over everything else. They were quite possibly the most chilled i have ever seen a couple before their Wedding and that made for a super fun and informal day surrounded by lovely people.

They had a literature theme for their tables which involved choosing a book for every single guest with a handwritten note inside each one. What a lovely way to thank people for coming!

I really had the best day with these two lovebirds, here’s some of my ultimate favourite photos from their beautiful autumn Alma Inn Wedding.
