Vanessa & Andy chose the beautiful Stanley House in Blackburn for their intimate summer wedding and it was such a perfect day from beginning to end! When i first met Vanessa and Andy i remember thinking what lovely people they were, we didn’t stop laughing for a whole hour as we chatted about just about everything! I always know when this happens that the wedding day will be an absolute belter!
Vanessa and Andy are truly made for each other, two of the most kind hearted, funny and spirited people i’ve met. They’ve had a challenging year to say the least and knowing the hurdles they’ve had to overcome whilst wedding planning just made seeing them so happy all the more special. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with these two and their amazing family and friends, and totally wanted to keep Vanessa’s mum, she was an absolute darling!
Vanessa chose a gorgeous lace dress with a small train which suited her slender figure perfectly. Andy and the boys looked very dapper in blue three piece suits and the bridesmaids wore lovely floral a line dresses. After a short ceremony the guests relaxed in the sun with canapés before a few family photos and a late wedding breakfast. Speeches were given by Andy’s best man and brother who came all the way from Australia, Andy, and Vanessa’s Brother who had the room in stitches as he shared his infamous out of 10 ‘rating’ of Andy- apologies for the ‘IN’ joke!
After the wedding breakfast we had the most gorgeous sunset which you could see all the way around the venue as Stanley House is surrounded by lancashire countryside, so we took the newlyweds out for a few more portraits before the dancing began just before we left.
Thank you to my awesome right hand woman Amy Bellamy for assisting me on the day, and thanks to you two loved up newlyweds for choosing me as your wedding photographer!
