Lisa & Mark’s Wedding at the Sirloin in Houghton was one hell of a party, i mean, when the bride and groom dance to 90’s trance and you leave them literally raving, you know its been a pretty good party!
This loved up pair met online and then got engaged on their two year anniversary as Mark planned a lovely surprise in London and then took Lisa for a meal in the Shard to celebrate, how romantic!
Lisa and Mark chose to get married at their local church – All Saints Church in Higher Walton, near Preston which is just around the corner from the lovely home they share together. Their wedding reception was at The Sirloin pub and restaurant a few miles up the road.
I arrived at Mark & Lisa’s house just as Lisa was getting back from the hairdressers in the morning. She got ready with all her bridesmaids and mum before heading off to the church to marry Mark. The bridesmaids wore lovely blue full length dresses and the groomsmen wore three piece grey suits with complimenting colours. Lisa’s dress was a white embellished dress with a gorgeous huge train, she wore her hair in relaxed half up curls which suited her perfectly.
The gold old british weather wasn’t on our side and the heavens opened shortly after the ceremony, so after a few slightly soggy family photos we all headed over to The Sirloin.
After some rather funny and lengthy one hour long speeches the wedding guests enjoyed a scrumptious wedding breakfast and a few cocktails. We managed to steal these two away from the party to get some more couple portraits before the first dance.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome! Thank you to my awesome right hand woman Sam from Samantha Broadley Photography for helping me on the day.
