Margaret & John Paul’s Shrigley Hall Wedding was absolutely epic, not just in it’s proportions with 180 guests! Their day was just perfect from beginning to end, and despite a slight rain shower we even had pretty perfect weather and finished the day with a gorgeous sunset!
Margaret & John-Paul met at the House of Commons in London, where they both work. In the Groom’s hilarious speech he shared how Margaret thought he was a bit of a jobsworth at first but he eventually won her over and she agreed to go out with him! I love hearing the stories of how people met.
This loved up pair chose Shrigley Hall in Cheshire for their wedding. A huge imposing and beautiful period building set amongst stunning Cheshire countryside, an enormous golf course and with its own lake, it has everything!
Margaret wore a stunning Maggie Sottero Lace fishtail dress with a slight hint of peach underneath. John-Paul looked super smart in a Grey three piece suit with Groomsmen all in Navy chinos and mis-matched blazers in shades of grey, pink and blue. Bridesmaids complimented the groomsmen in shades of pink, grey and blue all wearing totally different outfits that somehow worked together!
Choosing personalised vows made the ceremony both hilarious and touching as they read their promises aloud to each other for the first time.
The theme for the wedding breakfast was Harry Potter, with a sorting hat for the cards and a marauders Map for the table plan, the room had been transformed into a twinkly magical room for the wedding breakfast.
