A beautiful summery Wedding in Preston, Lancashire
I recently had the pleasure of working with Tony Higginson to photography Bob and Emily’s Wedding at St Marys Church and Farrington Lodge.
I went to Bob’s mum and dad’s house to meet him and the groomsmen where they were finishing getting ready. Bob and his 7 Groomsmen have been friends since nursery which became obvious as they all started to arrive and shared private jokes and laughed away at each other in a way only lifelong friends can.
The beautiful bride, Emily chose a lovely layered white dress which she looked a million dollars in and pink full length dresses for the bridesmaids with three piece suits with tails for the groomsmen.
Bob and Emily chose to get married at St Marys Church in Penwortham where i had only been a few weeks before for Sarah & Lee’s Wedding. The vicar here is super lovely and so relaxed which makes my job so much easier and ultimately means the couple get all the images they want.
Preston Wedding Photographer
I’ve been lucky enough to photograph lots of beautiful weddings around the Preston area, but Farington Lodge is one of my favourite places. It’s period charm and original features coupled with the gorgeous grounds make it the perfect wedding venue.
After the church ceremony Bob and Emily went to Farington Lodge to celebrate with their guests. We had the most glorious weather and had so much fun spending the day with this lovely family. After a few family portraits we took the newlyweds for a walk around the grounds for some natural couples portraits. These two made it really easy for us and had a giggle as we snapped away.
