Manchester City Centre Wedding Photography with Haley & Ian
I love Manchester City Centre Wedding Photography, and Haley and Ian’s day was an absolute belter. I was helping my good friend Rachel Joyce Photography for the day and not only were we blessed with gorgeous weather, a beautiful sunset but an amazing wedding venue, Great John Street Hotel.
Haley and Ian chose to have the ceremony in the library upstairs which has its own roof terrance, pretty spectacular as a wedding venue! Haley wore a stunning off white lace dress which had a very subtle hint of pink. The boys wore very dapper three piece suits and the bridesmaids wore lovely delicate dresses.
I started the morning with Ian and the boys in the bar downstairs, a very relaxed morning apart from a slight mis hap with some ill fitting trousers- luckily soon sorted! The ceremony was lovely and intimate in the library, decorated with lush flower displays before the guests poured out onto the sunlit terrace for prosecco and beers.
After a few family photos in the sun Haley and Ian relaxed with their guests before the wedding breakfast. The speeches followed with a fairly non-traditional line up and the brides mum sharing hilarious anecdotes along with the brides aunty on behalf of father of the bride. The groom and best men then stole the show with funny and touching stories.
Rachel and I took the lovely newlyweds off for some photographs during the most beautiful sunset before heading back for the party to really get started! There was never a dull moment with this lovely bunch, they certainly showed me up on the dance floor (given that i dance like my Grandad- its not hard!) and the dance floor was packed out as the band got things going with the first dance and some absolute classics!
Thanks Rachel for having me along with you on the day, congratulations to the gorgeous newlyweds, Haley & Ian.
