Inglenook Farm Wedding

Sarah & Ashley’s Inglenook Farm Wedding was just pure outdoor wedding heaven! This wasn’t just any Inglenook Farm Wedding though. Sarah’s Dad owns Inglenook Farm so it was even more special.

I always ask my couples how they met. Call me nosy! But I love hearing their love story, here’s theirs “We met in Aberdeen while Sarah was completing an internship. We were introduced through a mutual friend rather awkwardly over facebook. Our first time meeting was at the local pub just over a couple of pints and things escalated quickly from there! We were in a long distance relationship for 2 years as work moved Ashley to London and Sarah returned to Leeds following her internship in Aberdeen. In that time we both got to know the east coast main line rather well…

We got engaged at Kew Gardens, after living with each other for 6 months and being together for 2 and a half years. We celebrated with a bottle of Prosecco, a 4 pack of sausage rolls from Greggs and then going home and watching Aladdin”. Ah that’s my kinda love story.

Inglenook Farm Wedding

Sarah & Ashley gave a nod to their field of Geology by having a rock theme and had rocks for table numbers, a slate table plan and Lavender from Inglenook Farm decorating the tables and in the bouquets.

It was an absolute scorcher of a day which was perfect for their outdoor humanist ceremony which was lead by a friend. Guests spent the afternoon relaxing in the sun with gin and playing cricket and bowls before camping out together under the stars! I actually didn’t want to go home!

Here’s my favourite photos from their beautiful relaxed wedding along with a highlight slideshow.
