I absolutely loved being a part of Iain & Sarah’s Mitton Hall Wedding, not only do i love Mitton Hall, but everything about this wedding was just gorgeous! I was working alongside my lovely friend Rachel from Rachel Joyce Photography for the day and we had so much fun with this lovely pair.
Mitton Hall Wedding in Clitheroe
I arrived at Mitton Hall to meet Iain and his Groomsmen for a few relaxed portraits before the ceremony, they had paid attention to detail and all had an array of multicoloured socks and matching hip flasks to compliment their blue three piece suits with tweed waistcoats. The suite at Mitton Hall had been transformed into the perfect location for a wedding ceremony and Iain’s groomsmen was rather handy on the keyboard so played Sarah up the aisle which was a lovely personal touch. The bridesmaids wore pale pink full length pleated dresses from Monsoon and the bride wore a stunning ivory lace dress with full length veil. Sarah’s bouquet was filled with peonies and had a look of wild just picked flowers.
After the ceremony the sun was shining as guests enjoyed canapés and drinks on the patio overlooking the most beautiful ribble valley countryside before a few quick family portraits. We whisked the newlyweds away for a few minutes before the wedding breakfast to get some natural portraits in the gardens.
The guests sat down in a beautifully decorated room filled to the brim with gorgeous details and floral candelabras, before the most touching and heartwarming speeches where Sarah and Iain shared the traditional ‘Grooms’ speech standing up together to thank their guests.
Sarah & Iain had chosen an awesome band for their evening party and as more evening guests arrived they enjoyed their first dance before throwing some shapes with all of their wedding guests on the dance floor.
We had the best day at Mitton Hall, with the most delicious food, lovely people and even a bit of sunshine!
