Where do i start with Hannah & Will’s amazing wedding! It was just the most beautiful day, packed to the brim with flowers and rustic touches, their Marquee Wedding was one of my favourites of the year.
Their wedding took place on Hannah’s parents’ farm land in the stunning village of Ribchester in the Ribble Valley. As we arrived for bridal preparations on the wedding morning the Marquee was nearly set up and looked just perfect with the tables filled with gorgeous wildflowers and cute favours, there were lovely personal touches everywhere, which even spread to the church, where there were hanging flower hoops and milk urns filled with flowers.
Hannah wore a stunning lace dress from London Bride which suited her perfectly, with Bridesmaids in lovely green dresses from ASOS. Will and the groomsmen looked dapper in their Reiss suits too.
I asked Hannah how they met and got engaged and loved their proposal story, i’ll let Hannah do the talking “We met in London in February 2014 having sent a few messages online. Our first date involved a short walk along the Thames and hours chatting in the pub afterwards. We saw each other most weekends after that. Having been together for 18 months, Will (bravely) decided to move in with me, my sister and my friends!
I had been away for a friend’s wedding in South Africa with the girls, in July 2016. I made a point of being back for William’s birthday on the 22nd of July. I had booked my return flight ahead of the other girls, thinking I would be back in London for the birthday. I had however failed to calculate the actual flight time, so landed the day after his birthday on 22nd July!
I decided that I would treat Will to a pizza, feeling very sorry for missing his birthday. Will isn’t a big drinker but I noticed he was finishing his wine much more quickly than I was (which is rare!) We decided to skip dessert and opted for an ice cream on the walk home across Clapham Common. I was walking along talking to myself (something I usually do!) and turned to find Will behind me, down on one knee. He popped the question to which I said ‘yes, of course!’”
