A Mauritian/English Musical Winter Wedding at Eaves Hall
I have a gorgeous Eaves Hall Wedding for you today and its Debbie & Norbert’s stunning wintry wedding which I had the pleasure of shooting with Rachel from Rachel Joyce Photography. Norbert and Debbie met whilst working in Mauritius and live out there, but neither of them wanted a typical Mauritian wedding so opted to come back to the UK.
I met the boys in the morning at the Assheton Arms in Downham Village, Clitheroe where they had stayed the night before. Norbert was feeling the nerves already and having a few drinks. Back at Eaves Hall the venue was being transformed to perfection as all the couples heartfelt details were coming together.
Debbie wore a tea length white dress and Norbert wore a bright blue three piece suit which tied in perfectly with the bridesmaids in aqua lace dresses. The ceremony was authentic and emotional with Norbert dancing down the aisle with his mum before Debbie came in with her father. After the formalities the boys made themselves at home around the grand piano playing requests as the guests gathered around dancing and clapping. It was so refreshing to see so much fun at this stage in the day, everyone singing and dancing away at 2pm in the afternoon! The singing continued for the rest of the day and evening apart from when Debbie prized Norbert from the piano!
Then there was the party! These lot sure knew how to dance, after the first dance was over they tore up the dance floor to a mixture of dance and classic cheese and even granny got down and showed everyone how its done!
