Matt & Kate’s gorgeous Cote How Wedding Photography
I recently had the absolute pleasure of helping my lovely friend Rachel from Rachel Joyce Photography photograph this beautiful Cote How Wedding in the Lake District.
Matt and Kate chose to have their wedding ceremony in the main house and then the wedding breakfast in the wedding barn. These two really had thought of everything to put their personal stamp on Cote How and had affirmations and signs everywhere! The barn looked amazing with hundreds of lights, homemade bunting and a bee theme running through all the thoughtful and colourful details.

Cote How is a fairly new wedding venue and is run by a lovely family who have turned their home into this beautiful lake district venue. Set amongst the most stunning Lake District countryside and boasting lake views from both the main house and the wedding barn, what more could you actually want! A two minute walk through a beautiful field and you are at the lake, the perfect backdrop for wedding photography! The wedding barn is beautiful for an intimate wedding and with huge barn doors that open all the way weddings here have the feeling of being outdoors even whilst you eat!
Kate wore a stunning lace dress which suited her perfectly, with bridesmaids wearing and Matt looking dapper in a three piece suit to match the groomsmen.
The whole day was blessed with gorgeous sunshine, a nice bonus for a British wedding! So the guests and newlyweds relaxed in the sun before we wandered off with them to the lake for a few relaxed portraits, our favourite part of the day. After the speeches, both touching and hilarious, we headed off home.
Thank you for having me Rachel, and thank you to Matt & Kate for making us so welcome!
