An intimate Wedding at Bilton House in Harrogate
Vicky and Ryan live all the way over in Canada but came back to a slightly rainy Harrogate for their wedding day. They chose to get married in the chapel at Rudding Park which meant they needed to do the ‘legal bit’ before hand and so decided to do this the day before and have not one but two wedding days! Why not?!
Bilton House is in the centre of Harrogate and set in a gorgeous period building and surrounded by history and sprawling greenery with tree lined roads. It’s a lovely place for an intimate wedding ceremony, even in the rain!
I met Ryan and his family at Bilton House where they had just 12 guests for their wedding ceremony. It was such a laid back and relaxed day, with Vicky arriving with her sister and even walking down the aisle with her husband to be Ryan. The ceremony was lovely and intimate with just a handful of people there and felt very personal. They chose to leave out the exchanging of rings and save that for their wedding at Rudding Park the next day.
After the ceremony we headed outside for confetti and some family photos just as the lovely british weather was threatening to drench us! We managed an hour of photos outside before the rain started as i was on my way home! Thank you universe!
It was an absolute pleasure spending a few hours with these two loved up newlyweds and their lovely families, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. I hope your wedding at Rudding Park was just as lovely as this day, have a safe trip back to Canada.
