Fancy learning how to take a great photo with your DSLR? Or are you looking to brush up your skills and learn the skills to get out of Auto?
Thanks for stopping by to read more about the Beginners Photography Course in Lancashire. A one day workshop where you can learn all the basics of photography. Whether you dream of being a professional photographer or just want to take better photos for a hobby this course is aimed at people looking to brush up their skills or start right from the beginning.
I have been a Photographer for 13 years now and i’m in my 8th year shooting weddings and portraits. I started out when I was 18 learning Photography the old fashioned way and processing my images in the dark room. Since then i’ve done a degree in Photographic Media, photographed upwards of 300+ Weddings and traveled all over the world with my camera. I remember how long it took me to get to grips with the basics of using my camera and wished there had been a simple course minus all the jargon to just tell me how to take pictures; so here it is!
The Beginners Photography Course will start with the basics teaching you about shutter speed, aperture and ISO and how they work together. We’ll then look at using natural light creatively, how to use composition and how to create a great image no matter what the subject. We will also look at the key elements in taking great portraits and we’ll practice our new found skills using natural light. I’ll also show you how to edit, store and save your images for printing to get the very best out of every image. At the end of the day i’ll also be briefly covering how i make this my full time income.
You’ll be shooting in Manual mode on the day so will need a camera with full Manual capability, you don’t need any experience shooting in Manual to attend the course as we’ll be going through this together on the day. The course is aimed at complete beginners through to those who just want a better understanding of the ‘technical stuff’ and how to take a better photo.
