Joanne & Frank’s Barlow Edgworth Wedding was a colourful delight, decorated with gorgeous bold colourful flowers and so much love. Family and friends travelled from all over the world to party and celebrate with them.
They met through a mutual friend and Frank asked Jo out after she beat him at thumb wars – relationship goals right there! They have been together for 9 years and even lived in Germany for a couple of years together before having their little girl Emmeline. Frank proposed in front of the Eiffel tower which wasn’t a surprise to anyone other than Jo who didn’t realise it had happened even after it did!
Joanne & Frank chose to have their ceremony at Smithills Hall in Bolton, one of the oldest preserved manor houses in the North West. It has gorgeous woodland and grounds, perfect for wedding photos!
Barlow Edgworth Wedding
The Barlow Edgworth is a lovely period building set within the quiet village of Edgworth amongst stunning Lancashire countryside. It’s used as the local community hall and is a very reasonably priced event space with a lovely village hall feel.
Jo used a Mid Summer Nights Dream as her inspiration for the styling for the day and there were subtle touches in her dress and the decor. The main hall was decorated with so much colour and looked beautiful with flowers and foliage filling the room.
It was such a lovely day and a pleasure to photograph, here’s a few of my favourites from Jo & Frank’s Barlow Edgworth Wedding.
