A Wedding at Stanley House in Blackburn

Chantelle & Chris’ Autumn Wedding at Stanley House Hotel

I had been looking forward to this awesome wedding at Stanley House for so long! I know Chantelle through a very close family friend so getting to know them both and being a part of their wedding was really lovely.

I love hearing how couples got together and got engaged so I asked Chris and Chantelle to tell their story “We met through work when I lived in Rossendale. Chris used to work in the Southern office and we started speaking through Facebook. He is a little charmer at heart. We spent the next 2-3 years travelling up and down the country to see each other and eventually I decided to make the move down south. This being the first time moving out from my parents and finding a new job. I moved down at the beginning of October 2016, and when Chris took me on a surprise weekend to London to celebrate my birthday, he took me to the top of The Shard and got down on one knee after dinner.”

Chantelle chose a gorgeous lace dress from Lulu Browns in Whalley and beautiful full length grey dresses for her 4 bridesmaids. Chris looked super smart in a three piece grey suit matching his ushers and best man.

The Autumn weather turned just in time for their big day and it was warm and dry enough for guests to enjoy drinks and photographs outside which is always a bonus at any Lancashire Wedding!

Stanley House was styled to perfection by Add a Little Sparkle who transformed the room for Chantelle and Chris’ wedding breakfast as Paul Guard provided the entertainment and got guests on their feet!

It was an absolutely perfect day and I had so much fun being your wedding photographer!
