Ah Amanda and Tom, I absolutely wanted to keep you, you two were blooming troopers having a ball in the rain and snow despite the good old Lancashire temperatures! It’s always lovely to catch up with my couples ahead of their Wedding, and as it’s been around 12 months since i first met them it was lovely to catch up a little.
Amanda and Tom kindly volunteered as i was looking for real couples for my mentoring sessions where I have been helping aspiring wedding photographers. So myself and Christine got to spend a rather soggy 40 minutes in the park with these two gigglers as I showed Christine how i photograph an Engagement Session and how to get natural shots without all the cheesy posing and awkward smiles.
This gorgeous loved up pair get married in June at The Hidden Gem in Manchester then onto The Inn at Whitewell in Clitheroe – which i absolutely adore and it just happens to be of the venues for my own wedding later this year!
As we arrived at the park in Accrington it was snowing, well, half snowing and half raining. You know that kind of freezing cold slushy stuff not at all like fluffy snowflakes! The park was really icy on all the paths so it took all our concentration not to end on our backsides whilst we made our way around.
I know these two would disagree when i say that they were so natural with each other, but they just didn’t stop giggling, slightly aided by a few bad jokes and prompts from me and also the odd silly face pulled by Tom.
Thank you so much for baring the elements and standing in the snow and rain for us, I can’t wait to be your Wedding Photographer in just a few months time!
