Wesley & Justina’s Wedding in Darwen was absolutely beautiful. I used to hang around with Wes and his best friends years ago but we only realised long after Wes booked me when we met just months before the wedding and were shocked to see each other as neither of us realised! We clearly operated on a first name basis back then!
Wes grew up in Lancashire and is serving in the RAF, currently studying to be a paramedic. Justina is original from Lithuanian and moved to the Uk in 2008 to study graphic design. Justina lives in Swindon where they are both going to live after the wedding.
Wes & Justina met on a Christian dating website and after dating for a year, got engaged in Scotland in December 2016. This was a surprise trip for Justina that was arranged after she said she wanted to go to someday after watching the film Braveheart. During the trip to Scotland a few things went wrong in the lead up to the proposal from checking in the ring at the airport and frantically trying to get it back, to heavy rain and wind and road closures blocking their way to the castle where Wes had planned to propose! But in the end a very dishevelled and nervous Wes proposed in the wind and rain and she said yes! It certainly gave them some stories to tell!
Justina chose the most beautiful delicately detailed wedding dress from High Society Bridal and the bridesmaids wore lovely green full length dresses with the boys in suits with bow ties tieing in the mint green colour scheme.
Astley bank had been transformed into a botanical oasis with a clear green theme across the room decor and lovely personal touches.
They partied the night away to Wes’ dad’s band who played 60’s music.
It was so lovely catching up and being a part of this lovely wedding. For more lovely Lancashire weddings head over to the recent weddings area.
