Emma and Mark chose to have their Wedding at Emma’s Family home where she grew up at Fazackerley Farm near Preston. Emma had lived on the Farm with her parents all of her life and was even born there! She had her 21st Birthday party there and many other family parties so they knew from the start it would be there for their wedding celebration. The Farm is no longer a working farm but theres still a selection of barns and old redbrick walls which actually make it the perfect rustic wedding venue!
They had known each other since school and had mutual friends but only got together when they decided to raise money for charity after their friend passed away in 2011. In 2012 they did the Lands End to John O Groats bike ride and got closer whilst training and the rest is history! They got engaged in Central Park in New York last year and quickly got to work planning their wedding.
Emma chose a stunning white dress with the most beautiful delicate material. With Bridesmaids and Groomsmen in complimenting blue dresses and suits. The Marquee was decorated with plants everywhere, even lining the path that lead to the marquee.
A Farm Marquee Wedding in Preston
After the church ceremony at St Lawrences Church just 5 minutes around the corner we all headed back to the farm. Once the family photos were done we wandered around for some natural portraits of the loved up newlyweds before getting settled in the Marquee for the epic speeches! The Country Kitchen Cafe produced a three course delight for all the guests as the sun was shining across the Lancashire countryside.
I had such a lovely day with you all, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. Thank you also to my lovely assistant Laura who was a great help and lovely company on the day.
